REV. ANDREW CHO, D. MIN.
ASSOCIATE PASTOR, CCUC SOUTH MANDARIN
Rev. Andrew Cho was born in Taiwan and came to the USA in 1987. After graduating from the Seminary in 1994, he has served in LA, Indiana, and Chicago, IL. He received both a Master of Christian Study and a Doctor of Divinity from Logos Evangelical Seminary. His passion in ministry is, “(12) for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; ” (Eph. 4, NASB). Rev. Cho is blessed with five children. Besides pastoring a church, he likes to go hiking, jogging, biking, playing tennis, volleyball and other sports. He treasures spending time with family. He also enjoys outdoor activities with people.

REV. MING LEE
ASSOCIATE PASTOR, CHINATOWN MANDARIN
Rev. Ming Lee has served as the Mandarin Associate Pastor since 2014. He previously served in churches in the U.S. and in Hong Kong. He has a Masters of Divinity from China Evangelical Seminary (Taiwan), Masters of Religion from Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Masters of Theology from the Divinity School of Chung Chi College (Hong Kong). He lives in Skokie with his wife Karen and they are the parents of 4 grown children.

REV. BOB WONG
ASSOCIATE PASTOR, CHINATOWN ENGLISH
Pastor Bob is homegrown from CCUC where he attended and was dedicated as a child, served on pastoral staff and was ordained. He received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has been in full-time pastoral ministry for over 20 years and was blessed with the privilege of serving churches in Chicagoland and Canada. Pastor Bob enjoys watching movies, eating sushi and going for walks (to burn off all the calories from eating so much sushi). Pastor Bob and his wife Josephine have been blessed with three wonderful kids.

REV. TIMOTHY PANG
ASSOCIATE PASTOR, CHINATOWN CANTONESE
Reverend Timothy Pang has been serving the Lord for over 40 years. His journey began with work in land reclamation and church planting, later taking on the role of church director for different churches. In 2005, he started teaching with a specialty in Old Testament and Biblical Hebrew. In 2016, he became a seminary dean, a position he held until retiring in 2023. By God's guidance, Reverend Pang became the Cantonese Associate Pastor here at CCUC in early 2024. Reverend Pang completed his studies at Overseas Theological Seminary, Evangelical Theological Seminary, and Trinity Theological Seminary. Additionally, he pursued a Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of South Africa and worked towards a doctorate in pastoral ministry at Dallas Theological Seminary. Reverend Pang shares his life with his wife and two married daughters.

REV. LENNY DAI
ASSISTANT PASTOR, CHINATOWN CANTONESE
Rev. Lenny Dai was born and raised in Hong Kong, came to Christ with the guidance of his high school teacher. He completed secondary school in H.K., followed by attending the University of Stirling (Scotland, U.K.) and University of Manchester (U.K.), completed B.Ed and M.Ed respectively. He had been teaching high school and the School of Continuing Education at university for years in Hong Kong. He went on to get his Masters of Divinity at Moody Theological Seminary. With the guidance of God, Lenny and his whole family came to Chicago in 2016, his wife Daisy and daughter (Little Daisy) enjoy being part of the CCUC family and happy to serve with the brothers and sisters here.

REV. JUSTIN POON
ASSISTANT PASTOR, CCUC-SOUTH
Justin has two daughters (Janice and Joy) with his wife, Wing Man. They were both called to the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Hong Kong, where he received his Master of Theology and has been in full-time pastoral ministry in Hong Kong for over 15 years. He loves outdoor activities, especially hiking, canoeing and cycling; he also loves novelty, reading and photography. Under the guidance of the Lord, he came to serve at CCUC in Chicago in 2021. His personal pastoral reminder reads, “He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” Colossians 1:28

MIN. SALLY SONG
PASTORAL STAFF, CHINATOWN CANTONESE
Minister Sally Song was born and raised in Guangzhou China. She is a born-again Christian. She has a master degree of Divinity from Overseas Theological Seminary. She has been in full-time pastoral ministry for many years in Overseas Chinese Mission (OCM) Church in New York and Chinese Christian Union Church (CCUC) in Chicago. She is passionate for gospel leading people to Jesus Christ. She likes cooking, hiking, jogging, exercising, hanging out with friends. Her philosophy of serving is 2 Timothy 2:15

MIN. SEN XU
PASTORAL STAFF, CCUC-WEST
Minster Xu was raised in Beijing, China. He has a Master of Engineering degree from Beijing Institute of Technology and a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia International University. In his graduate years in Beijing, Minster Xu became a believer, then he served for fourteen years in three churches located in Beijing and Columbia, SC. Minister Xu and his wife Heidi have a daughter, who is in her late childhood. Minister Xu enjoys fishing, table tennis, and frisbee at his leisure.

MIN. YONG LIU
PASTORAL STAFF, CHINATOWN MANDARIN
Minister Yong Liu, a follower of Jesus since childhood, actively participated in evangelism since 2005. He completed four years of study at a Christian school in 2006 and devoted himself to full-time service in the Beijing church from 2010. In 2018, he pursued theological education at Lincoln Christian Seminary, earning his Master of Divinity in 2022. Married to Xinyu, they have a daughter. Minister Liu enjoys music, reading, and sports in his free time.

MIN. TIFFANY YEH
PASTORAL STAFF, CCUC-SOUTH
Min. Yeh and her husband was called by God at the same time to be full time servants in the mission field and devoted their lives to fulfilling the Great Commission. God led them to study theology together at Moody Theological Seminary. With a heart of gratitude and hope, the two will be continue bringing the gospel to the Chinese community and the Unreached People in the world, using the gifts of music to serve the global church, ignite worship in everywhere.

Chris Javier
ENGLISH MINISTRY ASSISTANT
Chris grew up at CCUC, eventually serving as a Sunday school teacher, youth group counselor and deacon. Prior to joining the pastoral staff, he earned two degrees at the University of Illinois - Chicago before becoming a high school teacher for 11 years. He is currently enrolled in Moody Theological Seminary’s Master of Divinity program with a concentration in Pastoral Studies. God has blessed Chris, his wife Natalie and daughter Naomi immensely through CCUC and he serves in gratitude and joy in extending those blessings to others.

ERICA TAM-WANG
MUSIC DIRECTOR
Erica was born and raised in Hong Kong. She came to study piano performance and church music at St. Olaf College and furthered her music pursuit at Indiana University in Bloomington IN. She met her husband, Jay, at CCUC and they have two beautiful and energetic daughters, Angelika and Evangeline. In her spare time, Erica loves to play the piano (of course!) and to craft in her craft room. She loves to make and send handmade cards to brighten people's day, and to document the girls' life for memory keeping.

ZACHARY CHO
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY COORDINATOR
As a person who grew up in New York, his love for bagels and pizza may not be known well, but his love for children and desire to build relationships with them and their family are evident. With a B.A. in Children’s Ministry from Moody Bible Institute, Zachary Cho strives to help children have a personal relationship with God and walk their faith with Christlikeness. His love for playing with toys and games helps him relate to the children well, but also his child-like taste of enjoying his sweets and snacks as he is always munching on something in his off time in which he is happy to share.

JUSTIN YAU
ENGLISH YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Justin Yau was raised in the community of Chinese Christian Union Church (CCUC), where he actively participated in various ministries that shaped his spiritual journey. After initially pursuing law at NYU and later transitioning to occupational therapy at UIC, he felt a deeper calling to full-time ministry and attained a degree in Youth Ministry from Moody Bible Institute. He is passionate about helping others discover their gifts and engage in service to others. He loves meeting with people, building relationships, and guiding them through spiritual growth. In his free time, Justin enjoys reading, cooking, and thrifting.
